Our journey began as a humble YouTube channel, focused on inspiring creativity in children. As parents, my wife Dawn and I wanted to encourage our own kids to think outside the box and tap into their imagination. However, we soon realized that our passion for promoting creativity could extend far beyond just our own family.

That's when we decided to turn our hobby into a business, and Needy Cat Media™ was born. Our name and slogan both came from our own family pet, a Maine Coon cat named Shadow. He's extremely loving and, as any cat owner knows, quite "needy" at times. It was through our love for him and all cats that we came up with the name Needy Cat Media and our slogan, "Where learning and fun meet."

As we explored new creative outlets, we found joy in sharing practical skills and knowledge, from creating engaging software tutorials to developing easy-to-follow recipes. These are areas where we’ve spent countless hours experimenting, improving, and learning—skills that can make life easier and more fun.
